Four days of games, sports, and water slides on Union University's campus in Jackson, Tennessee, run by Union athletics staff. Open to boys and girls ages 6–14, with no athletic background or sports knowledge required.

Co-ed day camp right after school lets out. Campers are grouped by age, and every ability level is welcome.
Recreation Sports & Games Camp
Different activities every day, from court and field games to relay races and team tournaments, plus daily time on the water slide. Built for every kid: no athletic background or sport knowledge required. It's a great way to make new friends and try new things.
Meet Your Camp Director
Mark Campbell
Director of Athletics, Union University
Mark Campbell has led Union University Athletics as Director of Athletics since June 2023. Before moving fully into that role, he spent 27 seasons (1999–2026) as head coach of the Lady Bulldogs. His teams won nearly 800 games and five national championships: NAIA titles in 2005, 2006, 2009 and 2010, and the 2014 NCCAA title. In 2023 he became the fastest college basketball coach to reach 700 wins. A 2025 Women's Basketball Hall of Fame inductee, NAIA Hall of Famer, and 2019 USA U16 gold-medal coach, Campbell received the 2026 WBCA Carol Eckman Integrity in Coaching Award for the principle behind all of his work: "how we do it matters more than the results." Rec campers learn under that same standard, taught by Union's own athletics staff.

Where You'll Play
Fesmire Fieldhouse & Union Athletic Fields
Campers check in each morning at Fesmire Fieldhouse, home to Union's indoor turf room. Most of the day's games happen on Union's outdoor athletic fields, a short walk away. It's a real college athletics campus, the same one where Union's NCAA Division II Bulldogs train and compete.

The basics every camper and family should know going in.
What to Bring
Athletic shoes, comfortable clothes, a swimsuit and towel, sunscreen, a water bottle, and a labeled change of clothes.
Daily Structure
Morning drop-off, a rotating lineup of games and sports, water slide time every day, and afternoon pick-up.
Who It's For
Boys and girls ages 6–14 at every ability level. There are no tryouts and no experience needed, just kids who like to play.
