Version:
1.0

This Privacy Policy explains how Premier Sports Camps, Inc. ("Premier Sports Camps," "we," "us" or "our") collects, uses and shares information about the families who attend our camps and the people who visit our websites.

If you have questions, please contact us.

1. Who we are and what this policy covers

Premier Sports Camps runs sports camps for children and teens, typically ages 5 to 18, on college campuses. Most of our camps are tennis camps; we also run lacrosse, soccer and recreation camps.

This policy covers:

  • premiersportscamps.com
  • wilsontenniscamps.com
  • our online registration and checkout system
  • our parent portal
  • the emails and text messages we send

In this policy, "parent" means a parent or legal guardian, and "camper" means a child registered for one of our camps.

2. Information we collect

From parents at registration

  • Your name, email address, phone number and mailing address
  • An emergency phone number
  • Your relationship to the camper
  • How you heard about our camps

About campers

Parents give us this information about their child. We do not collect it from campers directly.

  • Name, date of birth and sex
  • Grade or school
  • T-shirt size
  • Skill level and, for tennis, Universal Tennis Rating (UTR)
  • Roommate requests
  • An optional goal for camp

Health and safety information

Parents give us health and safety information about their child so that we can care for them at camp:

  • Allergies and dietary restrictions
  • Medications and medical notes
  • Medical and fitness forms

Waivers and agreements

At registration, parents sign a liability waiver and a cancellation acknowledgement. We keep each signed document along with the signer's name and signature and the date, time and IP address of the signature.

Payments

Payments are processed by Square. Card numbers are handled by Square; we do not store them. We keep receipts and payment records.

Technical information

When you register, we collect your IP address and your browser and device type.

Advertising and analytics information

When you visit our websites, cookies and pixels record which ad or link brought you to us, such as campaign tags and Google or Meta click identifiers. See Cookies, pixels and analytics.

Feedback

After camp, we ask families to rate their experience and leave comments in a survey. With permission, we may show some comments on our websites as testimonials.

Email activity

We record whether our emails are opened and whether links in them are clicked.

Photos and video

We take photos and video at camp and use them, including in our marketing. Every parent gives us permission to do this in the signed waiver. If you have questions about how we use photos of your child, please contact us.

3. How we use information

We use the information we collect:

  • To run our camps: registration, rosters, check-in, housing and roommate assignments, health and safety, and communicating with families before, during and after camp.
  • To process payments, refunds and camp credit.
  • To send you camp information by email, and by text message if you opt in. See Text messages.
  • To improve our camps, using feedback and survey responses.
  • To understand our families as a whole. For example, we look at how far families travel to camp, household size, and neighborhood-level statistics from U.S. Census data. We use the home address to find the matching Census area; we do not keep the street address in our analysis tools.
  • For advertising and measurement. See Advertising.
  • To recognize members of our community. For some families, we may look up publicly available professional information about a parent, for example to recognize university leaders or public figures. We never do this for campers. We use this information internally only.
  • To report to sponsors and brand partners (for example, racquet brands). They receive only aggregated, anonymous statistics about our camp families, such as age ranges or the number of families. They never receive any individual family's information.

4. Advertising

We advertise our camps with Google and Meta (the company behind Facebook and Instagram).

  • We measure which ads and channels bring families to us.
  • We share hashed parent contact details with Google and Meta. Hashing scrambles information into a code before we send it. We share hashed parent email addresses, phone numbers, names and zip codes. Google and Meta can match these codes to people who use their services. We use them to show our ads to families who have attended our camps before, to avoid showing ads to families who have already registered, and to find families similar to ours.
  • We tell Google and Meta when a registration is completed, so they can measure and improve our ads.
  • We never send camper information or health information to advertising platforms.

You can ask us to leave you out of these advertising audiences. See Your choices.

5. Cookies, pixels and analytics

Our websites use Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel, and our registration system uses Google Analytics. These tools use cookies and pixels to record visits, the pages viewed, and which ad or link brought someone to us. They also help us show our ads to people who have visited our websites.

Google and Meta receive this information directly through these tools and use it as described in their own privacy policies.

You can limit this in several ways:

6. How we share information

We share information in the following ways.

  • Camp staff. The college coaches who direct our camps, their camp staff, and the health care staff at each camp receive rosters and the camper health information they need to run camp safely.
  • Service providers that process information for us:
    • FileMaker (our records system)
    • Square (payments)
    • Elastic Email and SendGrid (email)
    • Twilio (text messages)
    • SurveySparrow (surveys; we previously used Delighted)
    • Google Workspace and Google Drive (documents, such as signed waivers)
    • Railway, Vercel and Neon (hosting for our websites, parent portal and internal tools)
    • Anthropic (AI processing for our internal staff tools)
    • the U.S. Census Bureau's public geocoding service (to find the Census area for a home address)
  • Google and Meta, as described in Advertising and Cookies, pixels and analytics.
  • Sponsors and brand partners receive only aggregated, anonymous statistics, never any individual family's information.
  • Legal and safety. We may share information if the law requires it, or to protect the safety of campers or others.

We do not sell personal information for money.

7. Text messages

We send text messages only to parents who opt in. You do not have to opt in to register for camp.

We keep two separate text lists:

  • Camp updates: logistics before and during camp.
  • Marketing: offers and news about our camps.

You can opt out of marketing texts and still receive camp updates. To do so, contact us.

  • Message frequency varies.
  • Message and data rates may apply.
  • Reply STOP to opt out. Reply HELP for help.

8. Children's privacy

Our campers are children. We collect information about campers from their parents, not directly from children. Our websites are meant for parents and are not directed at children, and we do not use them to collect information from children.

Parents can review, correct or ask us to delete their child's information by contacting us. We may need to keep some records, for example signed waivers, payment records, and records of health and safety incidents.

9. Your choices

  • Email: use the unsubscribe link in any of our emails.
  • Text messages: reply STOP. See Text messages.
  • Advertising audiences: ask us to leave you out of our advertising audiences, and we will stop sharing your contact details with Google and Meta for advertising.
  • Cookies and ads: see Cookies, pixels and analytics.
  • Access, correction and deletion: email us to ask for a copy of your information or your child's information, or to correct or delete it. We may need to confirm your identity, and we may need to keep some records, as described in Children's privacy.

To make any of these requests, contact us.

10. Additional information for residents of certain states

While Premier Sports Camps is a small business and falls below the revenue and data-volume thresholds for comprehensive state privacy laws like the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), we believe all families deserve control over their information. We voluntarily offer the privacy rights described in Your choices to all our families, regardless of where you live.

Consumer health data (Washington and Nevada residents)

If you are a resident of Washington or Nevada, state law grants you specific rights regarding your "consumer health data." To keep your child safe at camp, we collect health information (such as allergies, dietary restrictions, and medical/fitness forms) directly from you.

  • How we use it: We use this information strictly to provide a safe camp environment and deliver the camp services you requested.
  • Who we share it with: We share this data only with the camp directors, on-site camp staff, and health care staff who need it to care for your child. We process it using secure data-management systems (like FileMaker).
  • What we never do: We never sell consumer health data, and we never send camper information or health information to advertising platforms.

Your health data rights

If you live in Washington or Nevada, you have the right to:

  • Confirm whether we are collecting or sharing your consumer health data.
  • Access a copy of your consumer health data, including a list of any third parties we have shared it with.
  • Withdraw your consent for us to process your consumer health data.
  • Request that we delete your consumer health data.

To exercise these rights, please email us at info@premiersportscamps.com. We will respond within 45 days. If we deny your request, you may appeal our decision by replying to our denial email. If your appeal is denied, Washington residents may file a complaint with the Washington State Attorney General.

Advertising and "sharing"

Under some state laws, our use of cookies, pixels, and tools like Custom Audiences to show you ads may be considered "sharing" for targeted advertising. You can opt out of this at any time by contacting us. We also recognize browser-based opt-out preference signals like Global Privacy Control (GPC).

11. Data retention and security

We keep information for as long as we need it to run our camps and to meet our legal, accounting and safety obligations.

We use reasonable safeguards to protect information. We limit access to staff who need it, use encrypted connections, and rely on Square to handle payment card data. No system is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee the security of information.

When we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page with a new effective date and version number. If we make material changes, we will also notify families by email.
